Aino is the product studio of design agency HiiVE Creative. At Aino Walls, all of our wallcoverings have a mid-century, Scandinavian, retro modern, or graphic twist. They are perfect as an accent wall or wall treatment, all of our wallpapers are available as an on-demand digitally printed wall covering, personalized to your specific needs. The colorways provide a range of feelings, from subtle to bold and of course the metallics are amazing in any room. Aino wallpapers are great in commercial or residential spaces, be it a hospitality space, such as a hotel or restaurant or a powder room, bedroom wall or a kid’s room. All of our wall coverings are Type II and very durable. We do offer sustainable focused grounds as well.

 

 

HOW DO YOU SAY THAT? A-EE-NO?

Pronounced similarly to “I know.”

“Aino” is of Finnish origin and means one and only or unique.
We want our wallcoverings to be your only choice because they are unique.
It also happens to be the middle name of our Founder’s most significant design influence (and the person responsible for all the crazy name spellings), her Finnish mother.

Aino was born from the DNA of our acclaimed parent company, HiiVE Creative, bringing us over 20 years of design experience in interior, brand development, and graphic design.

Utilizing local production partners means we can move quickly from ideation to production, allowing us to meet even the strictest deadline.

We manufacture our products on-demand, eliminating stock, waste, and storage, resulting in a lower cost and a happier planet.

At the helm is our Founder and Principal, Tiina Martin.

She has worked on some of the most notable architectural projects in the world with some of the most influential firms and brands in hospitality and fashion.

Her background includes degrees in Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Psychology.
